Captain’s Drive-In Postponed until 21st February
Due to the persistent rain in the last days and the worsening forecast towards the weekend, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Captain's Drive-In for 2 weeks, and it is now rearranged for Saturday 21st February 2026.
Fresh New Look for Burstwick Country Golf Pro Shop
Burstwick Country Golf’s pro shop has had a makeover, and the results are looking great. The refurbished space now features smart new cabinet displays, giving the shop a cleaner, more modern look and making it easier to check out the latest gear, clothing, and accessories.

Durabunker Project well underway on 18th hole
We have kicked off an exciting project on the 18th hole, where all four bunkers are being rebuilt using the Durabunker system. It’s a big upgrade for one of the course’s most important finishing holes, and the work is already moving along nicely. Everything is on track to be completed in time for the 2026 season.

Captain’s Am-Am raises over £4,000 for Alzheimer’s Society
Our Captain, Lee Sargeson, would like to say a massive thank you to the 36 teams who took part in his Captain's Charity Am-Am on Saturday 19th July. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the day raised over £4,000 for Lee’s chosen charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.
Lee Webster clinches Burstwick’s 2025 Club Championship in thrilling finish
It was a weekend to remember at Burstwick Country Golf Club as Lee Webster was crowned the new Club Champion after a nail-biting 36-hole showdown last weekend.

The Burstwick Country Golf Annual Pro-Am, proudly sponsored by Pro Sports Cars, took place last Friday and proved to be another resounding success. With 39 teams competing, the event showcased a strong field of professionals and amateurs alike, all vying for a portion of the £7,500 prize table. Our Pro-Am is now the 4th biggest in the Yorkshire PGA calendar!

Matt Daley completes the Hole In One Challenge on Day 11!
We have been running a Hole In One Challenge with Matt Daley where he has been trying to hit a blind shot over the clubhouse & patio, into a hole on the practice putting green.
The Hole in One Challenge vs Hull Seahawks!
We are competing against Hull Seahawks Ice Hockey team in a Hole-in=one challenge! Our very own Matt Daley will be aiming to get a hole-in-one on the putting green, from the other side of the clubhouse (and over the new patio!), while the Hull Seahawks will be trying to get a puck through a hole on the other side of the rink.
Over £200k invested in machinery since 2020
Since we reached 600 members in 2020 we have been able to invest extra money into improving the golf course, and a big part of that has been the machinery we have been able to acquire.
More new machinery coming to Burstwick!
We are delighted to announce that we have just purchased a Toro Procore 648 pedestrian aeration machine, which we are very excited about!
