It’s official, golf is back from 2nd December! After the Government announcement this week that Hull & East Riding will be coming out of lockdown and into Tier 3 (Very high alert), we have been given confirmation from England Golf that we can reopen for the following activities:

  • Play golf on the golf course in groups of up to four

  • Competitive play allowed

  • Use of the Driving Range

  • One-to-one and group coaching outdoor and indoor (teaching studios allowed)

  • Group coaching outdoor only (driving range allowed)

  • Pro Shop Open (masks mandatory and restrictions in place)

  • Take out drinks and snacks

Unfortunately, we must still keep the restaurant and bar closed at the club, however we are able to and will be selling takeaway soft drinks, coffees and bottled beers/cider for consumption on the driving range and golf course.

Members’ Reimbursement

We want to support our members as much as we possibly can so will be giving a discount on every members’ next membership renewal of 7.5% for this second lockdown. This lockdown has hit everyone hard, including us, but we realise we need to support each and every person who is a member of this golf club which is why we have taken the decision to offer this discount.

If you wish to not take this discount in order to help us continue to grow the club then obviously this would be very much appreciated, please contact Alan in this case by clicking this button.

Those who are still to renew their memberships between now and March will also be eligible for the three options that we gave our members for the first lockdown, so please be sure to let us know when you come to renew what option (details will be in your renewal letter) you will be taking for this.

The golf course will be extremely busy - please be considerate to others!

As many of you will be aware the golf course is going to be extremely busy in the coming weeks and months, so we ask every one of our members to play give consideration to others when booking their tee times:

  • Cancel any tee time that is not needed as soon as possible so that others can book in

  • If you have space for more players to join you, please leave it available and be accomodating, although this is not mandatory

  • If you are able to play during the week instead of weekends, consider doing so - that way those who work Monday to Friday will be able to get a tee time on the weekend

  • If you play more than twice a week please consider reducing this because other members may only get one chance to play

Please remember competition tee times can be booked two weeks in advance and they go live at 4pm. Casual bookings can be booked three weeks in advance and the tee times go live at 00:01am.

The club has temporarily reduced online visitor tee booking to up to 7 days in advance, therefore giving members a 14 day priority for casual bookings.

We look forward to having everyone back on the golf course from Wednesday, and ask that everyone please be patient with any restrictions in place or difficulty booking tee times - we are trying our best to help everyone as much as possible.
