Trolley Experiment underway at Burstwick
At Burstwick, we operate a policy where hedgehog wheels must be used by anyone using a trolley in the winter months. This is to help protect the course, but I am often asked by golfers if they actually work, or in some cases, can they actually hurt the course more?

Winter apparel arrived to keep you warm in the cold months
We have now taken delivery of our winter apparel from Under Armour and Footjoy and it looks like a very strong range from both brands this year.
Path with raised flower bed almost complete near 7th tee
As you may be aware last week we began construction of a new path around the 6th lake and the 7th tee at Burstwick, with the aim of minimising harm from traffic as it is a particular are that suffers in the wet weather.

Target Golf League Results - Week 1
Last Thursday was the first week of our Target Golf League which went down a storm with participants! The Bisby Babes are in the lead by one point from The Dream Team and Captain’s Choice after week 1!
Course looking good going into the Winter season
One week after scarification and four weeks after hollow coring, our greens are looking very healthy going into the winter season.

Our Xmas Open Am-Am is in just four weeks and it’s set to be a great event with a packed out tee sheet! Last year we had close to 40 teams in and it was a very busy day from start to finish.

Juniors do the club extremely proud at Ganton
On Sunday 18th September our Junior Team competed in the 2022 East Riding Junior League Final at Ganton Golf Club in a bid to become Junior League Champions for this season.

The management would like to say a big thank you to Brian Sellers for his continued work with the PATT Foundation and Green Task Force, helping the club secure thousands of pounds worth of funding for the tree planting ealier this year, and continuing to push forward with phase 2 of the planting which will hopefully be starting this coming winter.
