The Club needs your help!
We have had an ongoing battle with the cement factory which has been polluting the course and our golfers various times over the last few years. We are asking our membership to help us in communicating their thoughts, experiences and evidence to the local Environment Agency Officer - we need strength in numbers!
We do not wish to create enemies with Newlay Concrete, but rather push the Environment Agency to enforce strict controls for dust pollution monitoring and measures for our golfers health & safety!
We have had times where the close greens to the site (2, 6 and 11) have been covered in dust, and occasions when golfers have gotten grit in their eyes and mouth - this cannot go on!
