Please rake bunkers for the sake of your golf course!

The greenkeepers have worked very hard this week de-weeding bunkers and moving sand around to get an even finish, and they’ve done a great job. We would like to please remind all golfers that it is their duty to rake the bunkers after they have been in them, now that rakes are back out on the golf course.

We have witnessed a huge amount of players not doing this and would like to stress that it is for the benefit of everyone that they are raked.

The bunkers were fully raked yesterday and today this is how many of them looked after a days’ golf. We must all do our best to try and keep the course in the best condition possible by raking bunkers, repairing pitch marks and divots.

Thank you.
