As per the new Government Guidlines which came into force on Monday 19th July, we have now returned rakes into bunkers so that players can rake the bunker after playing their shot.

Please note that this also means the temporary preferred lies in bunkers rule is now not active and therefore a player must play the ball as it lies in the sand.

The bunkers will be soon receiving a good going over by the greenkeepers with removal of grass and weeds, with a top up of sand in selected areas too.

Ball washers are now also available on the course again.

Please help the greenstaff by making sure you rake the bunkers after you have played in them!

If every person rakes them it keeps the sand in much better condition because it becomes less compactes and gets turned over more frequently. Thank you.

Flagsticks may also now be removed in casual and competition play in the new guidelines, and scorecards are now required to be signed by both players in any handicap qualifying events as they were before.
