Durabunker work continues - this time on hole 16
After the major success of the bunker work on hole 18, we have opted to stretch the renovation budget to get another set of greenside bunkers completed for the winter - so we decided to go with hole 16.
Mark and his time have been working very hard over the last few weeks and have done another fantastic job!
We are now waiting a few weeks for the land to settle and the temperatures to warm up before we bring some turf in to grow the edges into the existing grass, then once this has bedded in, sand will be added and they will be available for play.
With everything else going on at the club that’s this year’s bunker budget used up (and some) but we aim to continue work next winter and hopefully have many more bunkers installed with Durabunker!
