The Patio is finally finished!

As in true Burstwick fashion, the construction of the patio took a little (a lot!) longer to complete than we’d hoped but we are finally there and it is being enjoyed by both members, visitors and restaurant guests alike! We have finally finished the lighting, glass ballustrade (glass supplied by Baldwin Glass), water feature and fence to complete the patio, and we have already seen some stunning sunsets so far.

The steelwork for the glass ballustrade was kindly donated by friend and member who is sadly not with us now, Martin Palmer. Martin you will be sadly missed and we can’t thank you enough for this kind gesture.

We had some valuable help from some very enthusiastic members - 2025 Captain Lee Sargeson, Jamie Baldwin, Andy Coult and Anthony Ovington - who helped us pull all of this together and for that we are very grateful.

Here’s to many pints, coffees, glasses of wine and meals on this new fixture!
