New Course Record

The club would like to congratulate Lewis Hunt on breaking the amateur course record for the club, with a fantastic score of 64 off the white tees last Thursday, in a strokeplay competition. The previous holder, Lee Webster, who had held the record for more than 10 years with a score of 65 was delighted to see Lewis be the one to break the record, after seeing Lewis climb through the ranks at Burstwick as a junior to becoming one of the best players at the club.

What makes the feat even more impressive is that Lewis had a two year break from golf and has only been back playing for three months! It’s like riding a bike eh Lew?

Well done Lewis, you’ve made the club very proud!
