Custom Fitting going through the roof at Burstwick
Matt Daley has had a new custom fitting wall installed in the golf studio at the MD Golf Academy, and with the support of Ping and Callawawy Burstwick Country Golf is becoming East Yorkshire’s hub for custom fitting.
Luke is our new custom fit specialist, and with a wealth of experience that he gained at Hoylake and Rudding Park combined with the state-of-the-art Trackman data, he has all the knowledge you need to gain extra performance from your game with clubs that are perfect for your swing.
One of Burstwick’s members, Darren Bamford, told the club of the fantastic experience he had with Luke, who custom fit him for a Callaway Mavrik Driver, Fairway Wood and Ping G410 hybrid:
I have never enjoyed hitting balls in the range but found the experience on offer from Luke excellent, he set me up on Trackman in his studio so I could easily see how and what I was hitting, offering advice as and when needed and at no point did I feel pressured in to making a decision.
I tried the same club with different shaft options as well as another brand of club again with different shaft options before I made my decision. Luke contacted me with a price and lead time within 24 hours and the club was ordered. I have since ordered a 3 wood, hybrid and my son a driving iron which he tried at the same time I had a hit with the 3 wood.
