Qualifying Competitions, Trophies and Medals are back from July!

SINCE reopening the golf course in May we have been running all kinds of fun competitions including pairs and team games to give our members something to play for and bring the competitve edge back into golf while we have local rules in play to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As things progress forward in the world of golf CONGU have now put some temporary rules in that clubs can use so that they can run qualifying competitions while still adhering to government guidelines regarding preventing the spread of coronavirus.

These rules include having the flagstick in at all times and also preferred lies in bunkers within six inches.

At Burstwick we are going to be running handicap qualifying competitions from July onwards including as many of our trophy competitions and monthly medals that we can possibly fit in until the end of the summer season, to the delight of our members!

Please bear in mind that BRS will be updated in the coming days but does not currently reflect the addition of extra trophies etc.
