Ladies' Afternoon Tea Raises Over £300 for Charity!

On Sunday we held a Ladies Afternoon Tea Party in which around 25 ladies and girls turned up for an afternoon of laughing, eating and drinking! Although the event was called Afternoon Tea, wine may have been more suitable!

The event was open to any females whether golfers of not and our Lady Captain Chris Wicks hosted the event which consisted of lovely home-made sandwiches, scones, cakes a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, and of course a lot of gossip!

Many cakes and buns were baked by guests and friends for a raffle afterwards and over £300 was raised for charity on the day! We would like to thank all those that joined in, baked cakes or donated money to the raffle, it was a brilliant afternoon and we will certainly be doing one again soon.
